Enterprise Risk Management Senior Director Nike Portland

The role of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at Nike is to collaboratively partner with business leaders to understand risks and optimize our strategies to address those risks. The ERM Senior Director will lead the evolution of Nike’s ERM team – identifying and evaluating risks and opportunities supporting our strategic growth opportunities. This role will be instrumental in creating and leading a cross functional risk working group to provide risk intelligence to executive management and inform strategic decision making. The ERM Senior Director will also act as an advisor to risk champions to create and execute strategies to optimize our risk positions. In this role, you will have an opportunity to partner broadly across the enterprise on various strategic initiatives and contribute to a strong risk management foundation.
Key Accountabilities:
• Partner with enterprise leaders to identify and evaluate risks and opportunities supporting strategic growth opportunities and execution plans
• Evaluate short- and long-term strategic plans
• Evaluate strategic, operational, emerging, and financial risks
• Lead quantitative and qualitative analytic work that unlocks business insights and drives sound risk assessment and decision-making on key business issues
• Lead cross functional teams that identify and execute risk optimization strategies for key strategic initiatives
• Partner with business leaders and risk champions to understand drivers of key risk areas
• Collaborate with cross functional leadership and risk professionals to understand emerging risks/trends, and deliver viable strategies that optimize risk positions
• Effectively communicate the risk landscape to executive management and Audit Committee to influence behavior and ultimately drive change

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other strategic financial management positions required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years combined business experience including 5+ years of management of diverse teams and projects required.
• Experiences in ERM, internal audit, accounting, ethics, or corporate governance/compliance preferred.
• Strategy development experience with global consumer-consumer enterprises (including internal and/or consulting) preferred.
• Board level experience a plus.
• Must have strong communication skills to partner with business leaders and influence colleagues across a diverse matrix organization
• Demonstrated ability to influence risk owners and drive change
• Ability to lead complex projects across a diverse set of stakeholders
• Ability to travel 20 - 30% (domestic and international)
