We’re looking for an experienced person to build out and lead our People Vendor Management strategy. This role requires someone who is known for flexibility and creativity and is excited to lead in a flat organization that values collaboration and communication. You are a natural at building influence in cross-functional partnerships and developing great stakeholder relationships across the entire organization. You thrive in a flat, fast-moving organization where you can use lightweight processes, creative ideas and quick iteration to have a huge impact. You should also be excited about staying hands-on with company vendor management strategy, evolving vendor management practices and domain expertise.
Responsibilities

Manage the relationship with and performance of HR suppliers, including risk management.
Responsible for vendor set up/compliance, training, and other programs as assigned.
Develop and lead the vendor management strategy, ensuring that vendors are delivering value through their services
Establish internal policies, standards, templates for working with vendors, classify/ rationalize/optimize vendor portfolio
Concentrate efforts on managing strategic vendors
Manage regular senior level collaborative meetings between vendor and business, ensure there are metrics across all KPIs to ensure performance management.
Identify and execute value opportunities with strategic vendor relationships - analyze problem areas and help resolve issues and disputes. Manage communication process with vendors.
Develop the reporting for vendor performance in areas that include (but are not limited to) quality, capacity, systems and responsiveness
Develop vendor scorecards and dashboards that present data tailored to the audience.
Define and hold strategic vendors to performance standards and drive continuous improvements
Collect/consolidate/communicate reports and vendor data to stakeholders on vendor performance, risk and relationships.
Ensure Vendor Management Team is mitigating, monitoring and managing vendor risks including financial viability, business continuity and corporate and regulatory compliance.
Assess and report on the risk level of vendors based on financial, skills, tools and the use of third parties.
Build out governance model for vendors partnering with Strategic Sourcing, Infra Procurement, GSS Outsourcing, and Legal.
Lead projects around driving global discounts and consistent policy and guidelines for vendors operating multiple engagements within the company.
Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of Strategic Vendor Relationship/Performance Management.
3+ years people management experience
Knowledge in strategic thinking and leadership with abilities in relationship management.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Communication and project management skills.
Problem solving, with a focus on managing a team environment with attention to results
Influencing skills with issue mitigation mentality.
Experience managing vendor relationships.
Understanding of a service-based/SLA-based vendor delivery model.
Project and process management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vendors, projects and a wide range of tasks.
Knowledge of procurement systems/processes/tools
Understand contractual, commercial and operational working relationships with vendors to ensure that contractual commitments are delivered.
Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of experience in project/asset management, procurement and vendor relations in a technology environment.
MBA or graduate degree.
PMP Certification
