Apple's Global Business Intelligence group focuses on deploying critical business intelligence solutions for all business areas, and has an immediate opening for a Technical Product Manager, who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of solutions that enable Marketing business users to analyze and understand our customers. This includes direct interaction with key business customers and ownership of multiple strategic and high visibility initiatives aimed at improving Apple’s customer experience while addressing our constantly changing business needs and maintaining the integrity of our data.

Candidate must also have proven skills in managing large data volumes for analysis; must have experience in determining the precise meaning of data in a complex enterprise system landscape and data flow
This position requires candidate to be hands on and well versed with technology and aware of latest trends in technology.
Skilled at developing and exercising cross-functional influence, translating between business owners and technical teams
Ability to efficiently manage and implement quick turn around tactical large projects/programs

Knowledge in data mining analytics, decision / pattern analysis and text mining is a plus.
From a project management perspective, candidate must have a successful track record in all aspects of the project development lifecycle.
The ability to provide highly complex solutions on very aggressive schedules is essential.
Experience in the support of senior business team members, strong written, verbal, and presentation skills are critical. Successful interaction with and management of multiple technical teams in an on/off shore model is important.
The candidate can work independently on large, individual projects or major segments of complex company-wide projects with only consultative direction from management.
Understanding campaign management process is a plus.
Description
•Should have 8+ years of experience managing large sized IT programs, at least recently.
•Hands on and should be able to understand technologies especially: Teradata, BOBJ,Tableau,UI technologies that are used in the BI environment
•Experience in having worked on solutions that used Java, JSON,HTML5 is a plus.
•Knowledge of Tableau usage is a must - while ability to create reports is not necessary,
•Knowledge of SAS, R is a plus
•Experience of customer analytis, campaign operations is a plus
•Communication skills that enable and make complex issues simple to understand and solve
•Will need to work with and be responsible for deliverables from an extended team that encompasses Techno functional leads, Delivery managers, Framework leads and performance leads
•Ability to understand business needs, anticipate future challenges and be upfront on items that need attention
•Should have implemented programs that lead to BI solutions and should understand the dynamics that make BI solutions different
•Demonstrated experience of collaboration in fast paced environment with minimal guidance
•Ability to generate options and create a positive working experience in fairly stressful business situations
•This is a business and IT facing role - the candidate should be confident in leading discussions, presentation skills and should back any business recommendation with knowledge and data.
•Ability to communicate technical solutions in a language that is easy for business and the technical teams to understand
•Should have run through a large program's IT, UAT and Go live and be able to understand the importance of prioritization in managing issues to move the product ahead
•Attention to details, should be conscious of quality of deliverable and drive excellence and innovation for the BI product being built
Education
Requires BS degree in computer science or information management and 8+ years experience with 5-6 years of proven project management experience.
