You play a leadership role in Fidelity’s financial accounting and reporting function working collaboratively across the organization with responsibility for the accounting and financial reporting for several of Fidelity’s financial services business groups and the related legal entities in support of the Firm’s overall consolidated results.

15-20+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience, including relevant financial services industry experience (Brokerage, Asset management, Workplace Services, Insurance)
Advanced degree or CPA strongly preferred
Experience with a top tier public accounting firm strongly preferred
Experience in a large financial services organization strongly preferred
The Purpose of Your Role
Your primary purpose in this critical and visible role is to deliver accounting, financial reporting, and financial control services to Fidelity's businesses and functions. You will anticipate and proactively address changes required by new accounting standards and other regulatory bodies as well as initiatives driven by your business groups.You will interact frequently with Fidelity’s external auditor and ensure Fidelity’s audits are timely and cost effective.

The Value You Deliver
Lead the accounting team for several of Fidelity’s key businesses in their delivery of accounting and financial reporting services to the businesses and legal entities.
Setting direction and working collaboratively with Corporate Accounting colleagues and business group controllers on change initiatives, including accounting policies, controls, systems and processes, to ensure strong financial controls and accurate and timely financial reporting.
Provide expertise on complex accounting and reporting matters working collaboratively with Corporate Accounting colleagues and business finance leaders.
