As the Sr. Director of Worldwide Channels, you will lead a growing team of roughly 60 individuals and be responsible for Cisco Meraki’s Channel Sales, Distribution, and Service Provider teams. The Meraki sales model is 100 percent channel driven, and you will have overall accountability for our channel strategy to drive revenue and continue our rapid growth.
Responsibilities
Own all aspects of our channel strategy
Lead, inspire and motivate a team of Directors, Managers, and individual contributors
Hire, develop and coach top producing channel, distribution, and service provider sales representatives
Be part of a leadership team that drives Meraki’s culture
Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Engineering, Product, Business Operations, Sales, and Support to ensure internal messaging alignment, operational coordination and success of partner strategy
Identify and diagnose trends in our business to determine what programs should start, stop, or continue
Build and maintain strong relationships with Cisco channel leadership and drive integration with Cisco channel programs where appropriate
Independently drive investigation (via numbers, trends) to understand the underlying drivers of performance in the areas selected for deep-dive analysis
Develop and operationalize programs that accelerate growth of our core channel business
Advise partners around launching Meraki services and practices to drive profitable ROI
Foster executive relationship at top partners
Requirements
Experience leading multi-level and/or global teams
Demonstrated ability to think creatively, solve problems, and drive deals through to close
Experience negotiating and closing multi-million dollar engagements
Proven track record of exceeding quota
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Based in San Francisco (preferred) or London
