The Revenue Manager will oversee monthly close cycle, grow and scale our revenue recognition team, oversee the adoption of new revenue recognition guidance (ASC 606), and liaise between cross functional groups in order to ensure a strong partnerships across finance and other teams.

Responsibilities
Manage the month-end and quarter-end close activities
Assist in the design and scaling of revenue accounting, including revenue recognition and deferred revenue related to Dropbox products
Provide subject matter expertise on revenue accounting, partnering with cross functional teams to develop or refine revenue accounting policies and procedures related to Dropbox proudcts
Design, document, implement and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures and controls related to revenue recognition
Assist with and manage various ad hoc projects as needed
Requirements
CPA with 3-5 years experience in revenue accounting with a Big 4 accounting firm
5+ years of combined experience in private industry and public accounting, with at least 2 years of work experience directly related to revenue recognition
Experience in applying software revenue accounting guidance (ASC 985-605)
Advanced knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles with strong problem-solving skills to deal with complex transactions
