Global Community Impact Strategy Director Nike Portland

The Strategic Planning Director is tasked to ensure that the Global Community Impact (GCI) strategy is greater than the sum of its parts by pulling a variety of pieces of strategy work into an integrated view; working with the GCI leadership team and others to translate vision and mission into actionable, measurable and prioritized deliverables; and executing against the required dates and gates of the corporate and Corporate Administrative Office (CAO) business planning processes.
As Director, your responsibilities will include the following:
Facilitate the setting of GCI strategic priorities & goals, including the development of relevant metrics to track progress against 3 year, fiscal year, and quarterly milestones and expected deliverables.
Work with all groups within the organization to ensure objectives are aligned and integrated, working with functional leads to put in place goal-delivering plans.
Develop methodology and scorecard reporting structure to help drive accountability for on-going performance against strategic objectives, and ensure a tight link to greater Portfolio and Budget reporting processes.
Help drive content creation needed for key corporate and CAO planning deliverables, such as Corporate Strategic Review, Quarterly Business Review, and Resource the Plan.
Manage the analysis, synthesis and communication of GCI strategy for presentation to key internal and external audiences.
Work with the Sr. Director of Portfolio & Strategy in setting up two annual planning meetings with the leadership team to achieve alignment and set the foundation for much of the above.


Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
An MBA or advanced degree is preferred and at least 6 years' of total experience (3 years' experience post MBA) in management consulting, strategic planning, business development, stakeholder management, or NGO fields.
2 additional years' experience in lieu of an advanced degree.
Demonstrated ability to structure problems, apply sound qualitative and quantitative analysis, and package conclusions and recommendations through compelling communications.
Previous business operations / consulting background in helping clients design roadmaps to bridge from strategy to execution is highly preferred.
Analytical skills with experience designing and implementing rating systems, standardized reporting tools, and KPIs.
Ability to simplify the complex and communicate to senior Nike leaders.
Successful experience in a strategy development position with proven ability to provide direction / leadership to others and influence key stakeholders.
Expertise in the use of presentation tools such as Keynote, Powerpoint, and Prezi.
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize against multiple priorities, delivering with high quality and exceptional attention to detail.
Outstanding written and verbal communicator.
Ability to remain calm and steady in a fast paced environment and multiple stakeholders.
