Directs the overall function of technology and information systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintains availability of system including assisting installation at plant sites, providing support to current users, monitoring the system and troubleshooting issues.
-Defines information systems requirements.
-Ensures internal customer’s needs analysis is in alignment with business initiatives.
-Ensures metrics are defined, valid and shared with all parties.
-Proactively drives continuous improvement throughout the enterprise through enhancements to the application infrastructure, processes & knowledge transfer.
-Identifies creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re- engineering of processes and systems).
-Establishes new measurement systems if/where possible.
-Exchanges knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
-Responsible for Division Applications strategy and execution
-Must have proven Applications leadership, ability to build deep partnerships, and strong track record of project execution.
-Looking for a seasoned leader with experience leading global teams in a fast paced environment
-Strong IT background with exposure to SAP, Shop Floor Operations, B2B eCommerce, and custom developed applications
-Technical exposure to Cloud solutions, Open Source development platforms, and as Microsoft application stack
-Good communicator able to build a vision for the future and lead a team through transformation
-Open minded, results focused, and process-centric
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
- Plus 8 to 10 years of experience in a relevant Jabil IT position.
