Creative Director Design Lead Thinkpad Brand Lenovo Raleigh

We are looking for an Experienced Creative Director/Design Lead to work on Lenovo’s ThinkPad brand, one of the world’s most famous and prestigious technology brands, as well as lead the creative work for Lenovo’s State of the Art Data Center Business. The position will be based out of Lenovo’s U.S. Headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina and will report directly to the Executive Creative Director of the World Wide Brand team.
Key Responsibilities
This person will be responsible for overseeing the development of all of the Brand’s Content and creative assets. They will work with internal teams and external agency partners in the creation of Marketing/Advertising content for video, digital, social and print media. As well as overseeing the creation and maintenance of comprehensive brand guidelines and toolkits to ensure the consistent application of the Brand across all touchpoints.
Beyond overseeing the creative teams, they will need to collaborate closely on Brand and Product strategy with a tight-knit and energetic marketing team.

Position Requirements
The right candidate should have at least 8-10 years of experience in the field of Advertising or Graphic Design and hold a Bachelor of Arts or Fine Arts Degree.

Ideally the right person would also:

• Possess an insatiable curiosity for technology and how it is changing what’s possible.

• Understand what it takes to build a strong and differentiated Brand. From strategy to implementation.

• Have the energy and enthusiasm to inspire others. Be willing and able to help build and maintain a department and creative culture.

• Have a history of managing and mentoring creative teams to produce bold and attention-getting work in various media and a portfolio to back it up.

• Be a confident presenter and be skilled in influencing and persuading others.

• Have proven experience working internally with senior members of an organization to gain consensus and approval for their work.

• Continuously evaluate the best processes and procedures for the department to effectively deliver world-class creative work.

• Be comfortable briefing and working with external agency partners in the creation of marketing assets and brand guidelines/toolkits.

• Have experience developing and maintaining complex brand identities, including creating comprehensive, clear brand guidelines.

• Possess a deep knowledge of how to work with suppliers to create world-class video content, product and lifestyle photography and CG renderings.

• Have a good understanding of packaging design.

• Have a proven track record in managing and organizing complex projects through multiple team members and partners.

• Have experience in the consumer electronics category.
