In this role, you will work across Marketing, Business Development, and Partner Engineering to determine the best strategy for expanding Google’s version of Android across the ecosystem. As it is a complex ecosystem with a variety of partners across OEMs, mobile operators, and retailers, maintaining control is difficult and expansion will need to be measured.

As the Strategy and Operations Manager, you will help manage the Google Android portfolio of devices and partners. You’ll take a strong position on its relative strengths and weaknesses while actively looking to improve our expansion and control strategies. You will manage internal business reviews (within team and with executives), support team meetings, lead assessment of new agreements/partners/countries and build infrastructure so the program can scale to more partners and greater volumes.

Sales Operations is the global team that makes sure Google's complex and ever-evolving business runs smoothly. Experts in leading process improvements and consistency, team members are analytical and strategic with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done. They develop global initiatives and set high-level goals to improve productivity.

Responsibilities
Assess the health of Google Android device portfolio constantly and use that to develop our broader strategy and to evaluate new opportunities for partner and/or country expansion
Lead the development of internal and external materials. Create internal materials for educating stakeholders and progress and critical decisions and external materials to originate new business
Determine necessary internal processes to measure and monitor success. Take action with broader cross-functional teams to drive success for the broader product
Be an advocate for Google Android -- live and breathe the mission and help drive a common understanding of its importance with internal stakeholders
Coach junior team members on execution and personal/career development
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of work experience.

Preferred qualifications:
8 years of management and/or operations consulting (or a mix of both). Track record of excellence in developing strategic insights and thought leadership.
Expertise leading complex operational and strategic projects across various geographies. Firm sense of accountability, ownership -- doing what is necessary to get the right outcome.
Demonstrated ability to present analysis and recommendations at executive levels.
Creative, results driven, able to zoom from strategy to execution, business minded, and collaborative.
Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational level. Ability to identify the need for greater structure and work cross-functionally to create that infrastructure.
Superb communication skills, with a superior ability to lead the development of executive quality materials including origination, storyboarding, and execution of materials.
