This position is part of the Apple Channel Sales Programs (CSP) team. Apple’s main channel routes to market include Consumer Electronics, Mass Merchants, Telco, and mono-brand retail stores. The WW CSP team is responsible for management of Apple’s global retail programs in channel points of sale.

The success of these programs is dependent upon the coordinated efforts of several key teams within Apple. The Channel Sales Programs team leads the overall strategy and execution of these programs.
The Senior Program Manager (Telco) works closely with regional sales and Channel Programs leaders around the world, as well as with cross-functional teams in Cupertino; including, but not limited to, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing, Marcom, Finance, Sales Training, Staffing, Sales Communications, Procurement, Contracts and Legal. This individual manages the cross- functional forums where all of these functions come together to blend strong brand and amazing products with exceptional planning, execution and on-going management, development and oversight.
Key Qualifications
10+ years of Retail/Retail Marketing experience.
Retail Sales and Marketing experience in an indirect channel retail environment
Experience working in/with the Telecom Carrier channel
Experience in Retail Development role with operational execution responsibility.
Experience in global roles, with specific experience in international markets desired.
Ability to balance short-term execution needs with long-term strategic goals.
Experience partnering with internal stakeholders to achieve goals as a virtual team, including
strong program and project management of complex issues
Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, including presenting to executives.
Excellent analytical skills.
Outstanding leadership skills
Ability to be effective in both direct and virtual team leadership, and managing through
influence.
Experience in managing a large group of international teams of various different cultural
background
Proficient in Keynote, Pages/Word, and Excel
Description
• Maintain a solid understanding of Apple’s corporate and regional sales strategies, channel marketing strategies and plans, and current business environment. Lead forums with key leadership stakeholders to discuss future requirements and priorities for Programs.
• Program Manage the complex, end to end plan for Carrier Programs, from program conception and development to deployment and lifecycle management.
• Own Program Management cross-functionally, across teams within Sales Planning & Operations, Sales, Marcom, Finance, Operations, and Procurement.
• Manage coordinated Program launches to field sales teams and channel partners.
• Drive process efficiency in the ongoing development and deployment of sales programs.
• Drive on-going program improvement, based on regional needs, market development,
performance evaluation, Apple strategic direction etc.
