-Accelerating domestic and international issue resolution

-Providing technical consulting on excise tax issues

-Addressing information reporting and withholding matters

-Consulting on employment tax challenges

-Facilitating 9100 relief

-Navigating IRS practice and procedure

-Negotiating Pre-filing and closing agreements

-Voluntary disclosures

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: 8

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Certification(s) Required: CPA, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar

Degree(s) Preferred: Juris Doctorate or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation

Knowledge Preferred:
Extensive knowledge of IRS structure and strategic forward planning, including negotiations, issue resolutions, examinations and appeals, internal controversy resolution, excise tax, technical consulting, audit support and information reporting and withholding.


Thorough knowledge of international tax ramifications of performing cross-border services, tax minimization planning, consulting, tax compliance and business planning services.



Skills Preferred:
Extensive technical skills, including federal tax, examination and dispute resolution process, analyze legislative and regulatory tax development, research, analyze and write options on proceedings and federal tax law.
Thorough experience identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection.
Thorough experience as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.


TCRS-Global Information Reporting advises all clients including: multinational corporations, privately held companies, and partnerships with respect to the tax aspects of information reporting and withholding matters. Specifically TCRS-GIR advises clients on matters associated with the information reporting and withholding obligations associated with Forms 1099, 1042-S, 945, 1042, 8966, etc.

Additionally, group advises clients on a variety of tax controversy matters including penalty notices, audit support (IDRs, mock audits, etc.), private letter ruling requests. Our challenge is to not only understand how to manage the requirements, but make compliance efficient and effective on an ongoing basis.
