The Operations Support Manager will manage a diverse team that works with the Facility Operations (FacOps) management team in three specific areas: (1) direct oversight and management of operations and maintenance of Facebook’s leased data center (2) oversee global initiatives to support and improve standard FacOps processes and procedures at Facebook data centers, and (3) provide oversight on operational and capital expenditure budget development and execution. The candidate will need to be experienced in diverse industries such as electrical generation, electrical distribution and cooling technologies and fire suppression systems. This position is fulltime and will be based in Menlo Park, CA.
Responsibilities

Facility Operations: management and oversight of leased data center facility operations
Serve as the primary point of contact for all global leased data center facility operations.
Support, coordinate and monitor vendor activities at leased data centers, ensuring work activities comply with scope of work requirements per established service agreements.
Assist with coordination of lease agreements, to include service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure facility owners comply with the terms of those agreements.
Manage and mentor Facility Operations personnel assigned to support and maintain Facebook owned equipment.
Provide direct review, approval, or oversight for the standard operating procedures (SOP) and method of procedures (MOP).
Prepare reports, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure follow through of corrective actions for abnormal events or incidents.
Provide oversight in the commissioning (Integrated System Test) for new and retrofitted leased data center spaces.
FacOps process and procedures.
Collaborate with all levels of Facility Operations management and adjacent teams to promote the identification and implementation of initiatives focused on standardization of best practices and sharing of lessons learned across all operating sites.
Oversee development of new global standards, training products, and maintenance procedures.
FacOps budget development and execution
Oversee development and execution of the FacOps budget for owned and leased sites.
Find creative solutions to support reduction of operational costs and maximization of infrastructure utilization for leased sites.
Provide strategic guidance to support management of necessary supplies, repair parts, and consumables.
Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of management of technology operations, including critical operations
2+ years of experience in managing facility operations at leased data centers
Experienced in management, staffing, and scheduling for a 24/7 environment
Ability to make decisions and work with minimal direction
Possess a track record of thinking strategically and executing tactically
Experienced in project management
Experienced in vendor management and negotiations
Experience in budget development and execution
Up to approximately 35% travel required
Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of leadership experience
4 year college degree
Knowledge and understanding of data center power and cooling infrastructure
