The ideal candidate will have experience in the gaming industry, and will have experience with consumer or developer marketing at a fast-paced company. We are looking for an individual who can effectively communicate through messaging, branding, and campaigns how and why our variety of products provide meaningful value to Gaming developers and consumers in this space. This person understands different market dynamics, the competitive landscape, mobile app trends, game industry trends, and how to positively impact developer and consumer sentiment. He or she must have experience effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and agencies. This person must exhibit excellent skills in brand building, product positioning, messaging, and creative marketing. The ideal candidate will be creative, analytical and display strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. This is a full-time position based at Facebook headquarters in Menlo Park.
Responsibilities

Build awareness and grow adoption for our Gaming products among developers and consumers.
Develop strong messaging and narratives, authoring consumer and developer-facing communication such as blog posts, best practices, guides keynote presentations.
Plan and lead successful product launches targeted at game developers across Gameroom, Instant Games, and Live Game Streaming.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the broader Facebook ecosystem, competitive landscape, and Gaming industry needs to develop and execute go-to-market plans for each product – from messaging and positioning to market assessment and quantitative analysis.
Represent the voice of the Gaming community, both on the developer and consumer side, across teams to successfully plan and lead product launches and programs.
Manage and work with cross-functional teams (including PR, design, external agencies, product and engineering stakeholders) to deliver world-class marketing communications for Gaming initiatives.
Drive product adoption and usage rates through scalable marketing programs and launch support.
Organize, schedule and coordinate plans and materials for F8, Facebook’s annual developer conference.
Lead consumer and developer product marketing for Facebook’s Gaming products including Gameroom, Instant Games, and Live Game Streaming.
Develop and drive programs to build and improve the overall Gaming brand and experience for developers and consumers, frame and track the competitive landscape, understand target markets, and identify insights to inform product strategies and go-to-market activities.
Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree.
Experience in the Games industry
10+ years professional experience in Marketing or Product Management in technology (games, consumer or B2B).
Understanding of web, desktop, and mobile apps the Gaming industry, and developers.
Experience partnering with agencies, Product Management, and Engineering organizations.
Analytical ability, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to think strategically with an eye for detail and proven project management skills..
Demonstrated vision, leadership skills, and ability to manage projects across teams.
Experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment.
Preferred Qualifications

MBA.
Management Consulting and/or technical background.
