Facebook is seeking an experienced Editorial/Store Manager to own all aspects of editorial and merchandising across the range of Facebook Games products (facebook.com, Gameroom, Instant Games and Video) to ensure that visitors are presented with the most relevant, compelling games and content. The Editorial/Store Manager will work closely with a number of stakeholders internally including the Product, Engineering, Partnerships and Marketing teams to develop the most effective strategy, plan and processes. This position is located in our Menlo Park, CA office.

Responsibilities

Develop an editorial and merchandising strategy to help ensure that the most relevant games and content in the Facebook Games portfolio are presented to visitors
Partner with internal stakeholders to scope out and drive the implementation of this strategy
Oversee the day to day management and execution of editorial and featuring across the different products
Establish a set of success metrics to help validate the effectiveness of the editorial strategy and work to constantly optimize the games and content being surfaced
Own and manage all on-site merchandizing including all facebook.com (http://facebook.com/) sales events, as well as similar activities on the other Facebook Games products (ie Gameroom)
Work with other vertical teams within Facebook to ensure that editorial approach is consistent across products and services
Optimize and oversee the Facebook Games Page as well as other community touch points across Facebook
Own all external editorial events (ie Facebook Game of the Year)
Minimum Qualifications

5+ years experience in a gaming-related editorial, featuring or online merchandising roles
5+ years in community management
10+ years in the games industry (any role)
Knowledge of games and the games industry
Project management experience, with the ability to design and lead strategy collaborating with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
Communication and presentation skills, including the ability to clarify and summarize complex issues
Ability to think strategically about complex issues and action plans
Ability to work effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
BA/BS degree
