You’ll work in one of our Central or East Region North American offices as part of our Periscope Marketing & Sales New Ventures team, also part of McKinsey & Co.
Periscope, a McKinsey New Venture Solution is looking for a talented and creative Customer Success Manager to help us build and scale innovative solutions, combining McKinsey’s consulting knowledge with state-of-the-art technologies. In addition, this candidate will help us develop our Client Success Organization and will enable us to scale the capability to other clients, sectors and geographies. Our Customer Success Managers work in close collaboration with Periscope leadership and diverse McKinsey resources to serve our clients and create sustainable impact.

We work closely with clients to embed our tools, analytics and expertise, and provide on-going support to help them build the capabilities they need to revolutionize how decisions are made.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will manage existing client relationships and support business development with new and existing clients.

After rapidly becoming conversant on the Periscope offerings, this management involves ensuring our client’s base solutions are delivered on time and accurately. You'll drive clients in their effective use of Periscope to sustainably deliver high impact. You will also engage with client sponsors on a regular basis to discuss about how to best drive user adoption and helping them with questions they might have regarding the Solution usage or applicability and build client capabilities.
Additionally, you'll work closely with client executives,generalist McKinsey consultants and business, product and analytic leadership to drive advanced analytic insights. You’ll have the opportunity to define, react to and assist in setting strategy for client success, working in conjunction with Periscope leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering/Science; MBA degree preferredMinimum of 7 years with direct experience in account management, client delivery and client management within a consulting organization supporting large Retail clientsStrong, working knowledge of how to generate impact from core merchandising levers, including: Pricing, Promotions, Category Management, Assortment Optimization, etc.Superb presenter with both creative and analytical mindset; possess keen listening skillsCreative problem solver and natural entrepreneur; comfort with risk taking and ambiguityAble to present and describe technical functionalities to those less-versed in technology; Ease of comfort in presenting to all levels of an organizationStrong ability to manage resources across a matrixed organizationOutstanding project and process management skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsHighly collaborative, yet able to function well independentlyTravel expectation of up to 75%, on weekly basis
