Colgate-Palmolive Company invites applications for the position of Business Process Analyst, Global Development Marketing. This candidate will join Global Development team within the Global Information Technology organization, specifically focused on partnering with our Global Marketing business. The person will be responsible for developing, configuring, testing and delivering global application bundles related to, but not limited to SAP PPM, SAP HANA Studio, SAP UI5, SAP ERP-cProjects, SAP BI. The person will be using or developing skills in ABAP, SAP, HTML, Java and BI and gain in depth knowledge of Marketing Analytics and the end to end Integrated Marketing Campaigns Planning, Creation, Execution and Evaluation process, with opportunities to lead packages of development work in these areas.

Liaise with Global and Divisional Marketing business owners/users, Global and Divisional IT peers and Colgate’s strategic application partners in the definition of functional requirements, the translation of those requirements into development specifications, and the construction/testing of a system bundle for successful implementation within business units around the Colgate world.
Participate and coordinate the work of others in the development of sustainable Global solutions for capabilities across multiple customer segments in Marketing and Knowledge Management utilizing the Agile methodology.
Collaborate with and influence the Marketing organization to standardize their processes and application solutions globally in pursuit of their goals and objectives.
Participate in major strategic effort to define and develop Marketing KPIs and system solutions Colgate worldwide to increase effectiveness of media and promotional spending.
Lead the development of assigned technical bundles supporting end to end go to market processes and liase with internal finance business and IT teams to support financial reporting of new product development activities.
Perform a variety of roles such as technical analyst, tester, developer, and trainer.
Challenge existing processes, concepts or requirements, investigating and identifying new techniques / technology that can add value to business / IT.
Participate in strategic vendor management activities including roadmap discussions to ensure collaboration related to solution evolution and system enhancements
Work in an agile, rapid development, and prototyping environment
Understand and ensure the use of GIT project management methodologies.
Understand and ensure compliance of GIT Governance and Risk Management practices.
Transition on-going support of project bundles to other divisional shared service organizations.
This position requires the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering or Business
A proven track record of performance with increasing technical responsibility over a Minimum 7 Years of Experience in an IT role delivering end user solutions and 3 Years of Experience with basic SAP ERP, Abap, Java or SAP BI developments
Strong project management, communication and facilitation skills required.
Strong analytical, problem solving & conceptual skills.
Strong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.
Ability to negotiate and manage difficult or ambiguous situations.
Ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Inquisitive about new technologies with the ability to understand, combine and fully utilize features and functionality of various technologies to develop, fix and establish new methods and procedures, and to improve business processes.
Experience with BSP, UI5 or UX development or design thinking methodologies
Basic experience working with Lotus Notes development or HTML or JavaScript.
Basic knowledge of Marketing processes
Previous work experience for a consumer goods organization
