The Developer Platform Relations team on Fabric supports all developers that are building on Fabric. We are the engineering team to our customers and our customers to the Fabric engineering team. We build relationships with the developers and teams using Fabric to help make their apps even more powerful.

What you'll do:

You will work with a strong team of developer adovcates and support engineers working with external and internal engineers, app teams, and product managers using Fabric. You'll support external teams developing on Fabric and help them through any issues that they encounter. You are their voice and advocate internally and you'll be working side-by-side with the engineering teams to prioritize customers needs and requirements. The ability to effectively juggle and prioritize effectively multiple clients and issues simultaneously is critical.

Who you are:
We're looking for a support engineer with a strong technical background who excels at diving into code and figuring out the underlying customer issue effectively. You are comfortable in multiple different programming languages even if you have a preference for working in one specifically. You can communicate effectively with engineers working in code every day and product or app managers who may (or may not be coding). You know how to go beyond the what of a customer question or need and can understand the why of the question in order to truly help them and understand their needs.

- Developed an app or worked on a team that has built one.
- Technical depth that lets you understand and earn the respect of world-class engineers.
- Excellent communication of both technical and non-technical concepts.
- Experience working with external customers.
- Can work independently to solve customer issues while working as a team to help customers more effectively.

Requirements:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of development experience
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
- 2+ years working with external customers (ideally, in a technical product)
- 3+ years of experience managing teams of product managers
- Experience building a mobile app (ideally, in Android or Unity)
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional organization
- You're comfortable with public speaking and sharing technical concepts to large groups (meetups, hackathons, conferences)
- You've written references or documentation for an API, SDK, or product.
