This is a high-impact position that is the Operations interface for all of our forecasting, month and quarter-end closing articulation and managing the relationship with key sales stakeholders. The successful individual excels at cultivating relationships with sales leaders, possesses strong analytical skills and is a driven self-starter, who takes action and brings along the necessary team members to ensure timely revenue processing and supporting the orchestration between our sales and operations groups. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence for impact are critical competencies for this role. The ideal candidate is able to succinctly communicate status and elicit action from a broad base of business partners and stakeholders, and will also analyze and develop improvements to processes to enhance speed, quality and effectiveness.
Key face of LOC to the subsidiary, with expectation of broad relationship with the Subsidiary/Territory LT to be developed. Serve as an operations consultant, a thought leader, and drive a thorough understanding of the lines of business and portfolio it supports. Enable sales and revenue growth through operational business models and services Understand the sales cycle, forecasting and arrival patterns Coordinate the month and quarter end processes across Operations and Sales teams Identify and implement operational improvements that yield business benefits for Microsoft and our customers/partners Pro-actively address and simplify complex deal processing issues
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluency of English and Spanish
• 5+ years of demonstrated work experience in an operations environment involving licensing or account management
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA
• Demonstrated ability to innovate within a business stream, define processes at a regional level
• Demonstrated excellence in managing business relationships throughout an account including at the executive level
• Demonstrated excellence in thought leadership and execution management; ability to influence without authority Solid understanding of licensing channels
• Demonstrated expertise in account management
