The Security Ops team manages strategic plans and operations for the Information Security team. The ideal candidate is someone who has managed direct reports, built strong cross-functional relationships and developed and executed strategic plans for a growing and global team. This is a full time position located at our headquarters in Menlo Park, CA.

Manage team that covers all operational activities for Information Security: strategic planning and execution, finance and vendor management, recruiting and retention, communications, marketing and events for both internal employees and external engagement
Partner with Information Security’s leadership team to develop, refine and promote team’s vision and execute on short and long term plans
Work closely with key internal partners (HR, Recruiting, Finance and Information Security team) to support and drive XFN goals
Work with team to measure impact and help scale current security strategic portfolio
Track and support management with development of departmental goals, vision and progress
Oversee departmental hiring and recruiting efforts including a focus on cross-industry work to develop a long-term pipeline of security engineers
Oversee budget and vendor management
Develop and maintain operational alignment and effective operating rhythms such as staff meetings, all hands, global visits, metrics, etc
Prepare presentations and communications as needed for status reports, executive updates, annual planning, etc
Identify and implement process improvements and solutions around department organizational structure, systems, technologies and controls
Support and manage various ad hoc projects and issues as they arise
Minimum Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. degree
Leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building relationships with direct reports and cross-functional teams
Communication skills
Demonstrated experience with strategic planning, employee recruitment and cross-functional partnerships with Engineering, HR, IT, Recruiting and Finance.
Demonstrated experience on protecting users and on building a team.
