Responsibilities:
New Business Development
· Prospect for potential new partners, market segments, products, and turn this into increased business opportunities.
· Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. They will forge relationships with potential clients by growing, maintaining, and delivering promising
· Screen potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, business requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities
· Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new client strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and help to achieve the company’s business goals
· Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; Identify potential partners and solutions.
· Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion. Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
· Using knowledge of the market, competitors and wireless industry connections, identify and develop value added business opportunity or enhance the company’s unique value propositions and differentiators.
Business Development Planning
· Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends, new technologies.
· Present to and consult with mid and C-Level management on business trends with a view for new business, services, products opportunity
· Manage the pipeline of opportunities, priority and drive the ongoing negotiation
· Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
GTM Stategy
· Coordinates product management, advice and involve in product planning and development to define each product specification, timing and pricing for customer RFP or to address business opportunities
· Analyze and defines product strategy, taking into account customer requirements, competition status and industry trends
· Provides workshop and meeting support for product expansion activities
· Communicates with customers or account managers to collect requirements, industrial insights, strategy intelligent and coordinates account requirements management
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required, Master’s Degree preferred
10 years of Business Development or related discipline with top tier National Carrier, OEM , technology & cloud or other wireless solution providers
A successful candidate will have a broad spectrum of experiences ranging from Business Development, strategic planning, competitive intelligence and technical background etc
Excellent knowledge of wireless telecommunications industry, adjacent industries, Smartphone eco-system and current events. Good knowledge of key technologies and concepts about Smartphone eco-system , application and big data analytics
In depth understanding of startup ecosystem, technology markets and wireless industry trends, familiarity with Incubator/Accelerator space.
Strong wireless industry connections. Success track of records of identifying early trends/concepts, driving concepts into tangible business result
Ability to identify the whitespace of business opportunity, form appropriate strategy and recommend appropriate solutions using excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Negotiate key business terms.
Strategic thinker with ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, solve complex problems and develop creative solutions.
