The Sr. Director, Global Branding and Creative Services will provide oversight on key global branding areas: Packaging and label designs, photography and 3d product rendering services, real estate branding, brand reviews, global events stage, digital branding, global apparel and merchandise business. This role will also support global creative strategies including rebranding, HERBALIFE NUTRITION implementation, and other strategic initiatives that are driven by VP, Worldwide Marketing.

Sr. Director will manage to budget on subject matter categories that the position is responsible for, and provide extensive strategic collaboration with regions, other direct reports of VP WW Marketing, and senior executives as required. This role will also work closely with Marketing Communications to insure the brand strategy is properly represented across all projects in the proper channel to the appropriate customer segment.

DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Creative direction and oversight to packaging and label designs worldwide. Help lead future rebranding on company packaging strategy.
Lead weekly/bi weekly Global Brand Reviews.
Frequent communication with regions, local markets, and stakeholders for strategic creative alignment; ensure tools and assets align with strategic initiatives.
Manage, enable, empower staff direct reports who are Subject Matter Experts (SME) in their fields including team and individual performance, skills, training, mentoring.
Drive creative innovation and process efficiencies in areas of responsibility and investigate creative innovations for new and existing campaigns and projects.
Responsible for developing brand guidelines, tools and assets for brand replication and regional deployment.
Lead or implement regular calls and meetings across regions and departments as needed to drive alignment, decisions and improvements.
Retain and manage external resources both locally and globally as appropriate to drive scalability; enable staff (SME) to do the same.
Responsible for budgets and the overall operations of the cost center.
Use insight to lead in driving creative decisions and adjusting Herbalife creative on existing tools as needed.

Skills:

Ability to think strategically, synthesize the most complex/financial data and develop innovative solutions
Ability to lead and train staff including conflict resolution and collaborative cross functional teamwork.
Experience:
12 - 15 years of demonstrated experience of cross-media (print/web/events/etc.) and cross-discipline (writing, design, project/production/traffic management) creative teams.
10 years’ experience in planning, coordinating and supervising photo shoots including, but not limited to, concept, talent, contracts, and budget. Experience and ability to creatively position products in the marketplace (packaging, overall look and feel as well as inspiring, memorable and relevant messaging
5 years demonstrated experience managing direct reports.
5 years’ experience in Environmental Graphic Design, events and other experiential design.
Extensive experience in brand development.
Education:
Bachelors’ degree preferably in Design, Advertising, Fine Art or related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong understanding of industry and demonstrated knowledge/capabilities in the areas of financial analysis, business administration, legal and ethical practices, marketing; business development and operations.
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills and able to present ideas with authority to small or large groups of people
Project estimations, scheduling, and keeping up with a fast paced work environment, while maintaining clear communications throughout the team
Experience in clothing, and merchandise design (promotional items).
