The Business Banking Regional Director is responsible for leading a team of Business Consultants that manages client relationships for Business Banking businesses (revenues of generally $5MM to $50MM). This position is responsible for the execution of the sales and portfolio strategy through business solutions, leveraging products including data analytics, security & compliance, credit, debit, and various cloud-based business solution applications. This is accomplished by using a solution-based, consultative selling approach designed to help Clients grow their businesses. This individual reports to the SVP to develop and execute on revenue plans by developing strategies to maintain retention and margin goals across a large segment of the BAMS client portfolio, ensuring a focus on customer satisfaction and expanding client relationships. This role is responsible for developing strategies to grow revenue, partnering with internal and external referral sources in the market, especially senior leaders within our treasury and technology partners. This leader must influence and educate key partners regarding the value of merchant services, participate in joint calls with prospects and clients and coach associates and conduct necessary reporting and analysis regarding their segment to ensure appropriate resource alignment and meet key business metrics.

•Develop strategies, processes and plans that enable the team to help customers meet their business goals while achieving key performance metrics for merchant services.
•Develop and drive routines that organize and drive key sales processes such as contract renewals, RFP’s, etc.
•Drive and ensure alignment with treasury and technology partners

•Serve as an integral member of the management team and develop strong relationships with key bank partners, product and support partners, and other business partners as needed.

•Leverage product and process knowledge to coach associates and ensure best practices are shared across the team.

Required Experience
•Bachelor’s Degree.
•7+ years of sales experience successfully selling to merchant business clients to include C level executives in targeted industries.
•3 year sales management experience.
•Strong communications, including oral and presentation skills.
•Effective planning, time management and organizational skills.
•Highly motivated to succeed in a performance driven environment.
