The Divisional Director will effectively coach, develop and manage a team of Sr. Wholesalers. This position will report to a National Sales Manager. The Divisional Director will be an integral part of the leadership team of the sales channel within US Wealth Advisory.

Responsibilities include:
Maximize overall US Wealth Advisory results across all BlackRock products
Optimize field coordination of market leaders and their teams
Deep sales coaching and sales capability-building through field-based co-travel with Wholesalers and Market Leaders
Lead talent management and development for wholesalers including monitor activities and accomplishments to optimize sales results
Trimester business reviews, personal development coaching, and performance management of wholesalers, challenging and guiding them to differentiate, innovate, and excel
Work with National Account team to effectively partner with largest RIA firms
Foster high functioning teamwork across the RIA channel team, within US Wealth Advisory sales and throughout the Client Businesses/BlackRock communities
Partner with cross-functional groups, contributing meaningfully to strategy development, new initiatives, and special projects

Education and Experience
BA/BS; Graduate coursework or degree preferable
NASD Series 7, 63, and 65 securities licenses required; Series 24 preferred
CIMA, CFP, CFA or wealth management certification
15+ years relevant sales experience
Extensive knowledge of industry trends, academic fundamentals, portfolio theory
Clean U-4
Previous sales management experience strongly preferred
