You’ll build marketplace awareness and inspire customers to try out Jet.com by finding and telling inspiring stories through digital channels and the media. You should be curious and willing to try new ways to cut above the noise to help the media build interesting stories. You’ll be the go-to expert and counselor for our execs in talking with the world outside. And, we’ll look to you to raise awareness with other great people who want to join our team.

Build consumer awareness for Jet.com through story-telling and creative PR programs.
Work closely with business and marketing partners to build out a strategy that helps drive business results.
Dream, develop and execute PR campaigns and product launches.
Write all PR plans, announcements, content, and exec prep materials.
Actively manage proactive and reactive media relations, build and nurture relationships with key media contacts, and act as our brand spokesperson.
Coach and counsel our team and execs on speaking to media.
Work closely with our parent company to create opportunities to reach media and customers.
Drive interest and intrigue with potential candidates, amplifying our talent acquisition efforts.
About You
Knowledge and Skills:
A keen understanding of the media landscape and social media, and an innovator in PR programs and campaigns.
An expert in finding and developing stories, and driving visibility -- from creating major moments to ongoing pulses of awareness.
A creative, irreverent and concise writer and content creator; equally as compelling with the spoken word.
Highly organized and excellent project manager.
Experienced in managing crises or issues with a focus on the customer.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in PR, Journalism, Communications or related field.
8-10+ years of experience in public relations.
Strong consumer and public relations experience.
A leader who embodies the values of trust, transparency and fairness.
Able to deliver messaging and value proposition verbally and written.
