PMT is looking for a Director, Organization Development to be based in Morristown, New Jersey, with reporting to the VP Organization & Talent Development. This is a global role, and will have strategic direction for Organizational and Talent Development within the strategic business group.
Responsibilities:
·Business and Executive Partnering – support Senior Leadership in PMT to develop strategies and make key business decisions
Watch: Career Advice · Project/Program Management – develop overall implementation strategies; match/broker business needs with appropriate service providers, negotiate levels of service, and evaluate overall quality of deliverables
· Organization and Structural Design – lead organizational assessments, structure and hierarchical alignment that supports the organizational strategy
· Business Growth Support – act as an internal consultant with clear business acumen to drive growth initiatives that provide value-added results
· Capability Building – develop the organization to be qualified in strategy execution, change management, and organizational alignment
· Executive Advising – maintain a pulse on the organization to foresee obstacles and develop solutions to mitigate
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in OD, Business, Human Resources, or related field
· 7+ years organization development/effectiveness experience
Additional Qualifications/Experiences:
· Graduate degree and experience leading large scale change efforts
· Ability to create networks and to have influence and impact even without authority
· Demonstrated ability to operate effectively with an executive level client base and HR partners to achieve desired business results
· Strong project planning and management skills. Excellent facilitation and presentation skills; outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
· Practical and comprehensive knowledge and application of organizational design and development and change management concepts, tools, and methods
· Experience providing formal/informal executive coaching and development in all areas of leadership.
· Ability to integrate and align strategy, people, and activities across functions, processes, and teams. Able to translate vision and strategy into clear actionable goals.
· Understanding of key business process and outcomes therefor able to translate business needs into organizational development actions.
