Manage and improve the effectiveness of R&D project planning and execution to meet quality, delivery and cost targets. .
Manage the R&D project portfolio and keep it aligned with R&D capacity, resource plans and organizational financials
Plan and execute monthly Operations Reviews with R&D management and stakeholders, providing metrics, analysis, reports and data as required to drive operational effectiveness
Maintain and improve the offer creation and governance processes used across the R&D groups

Proactively seeks ways of improving R&D planning and execution effectiveness through the application of continuous improvement approaches such as Lean and Six Sigma
Perform the role of the PMO for PA including:
Maintaining the Spot portfolio database and keeping it aligned with financial budgets.
Preparing and submitting project and program data, dashboards and reports required for management review
Act as focal point for PA R&D for all PMO requests originating from external SE groups and organizations.
Provide coordination and leadership in the planning, rollout and maintenance of tools and processes across R&D
Manage requests for commitments for R&D product releases aligned with the R&D roadmap.
Manage governance processes to ensure R&D projects follow established project change management processes
Plan and manage weekly and quarterly R&D Leadership team meetings and workshops dealing with strategic, operational and technological topics.
Manage the flow of work to outsourcing partners within defined processes.
Manage the common software tool set and IT infrastructure used by R&D groups and provide IT support services required beyond the standard services provided by corporate IT functions
Interface with Industry BU especially I&T for various information requirements and coordination.
Integrate lean techniques into project planning, execution and management of projects and their stage gates
Qualifications
Do you have these key experiences and qualifications?
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations (or equivalent education and technical experience) plus MBA
10+ years relevant experience in Project Management, Engineering Management, Operations Management
Hands on experience using Continuous Improvement methods
Experience with Lean methodology including projects with significant impact on the business
Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to apply critical thought to define, develop and implement strategies and programs to improve operational excellence
