Director Government Pricing Sandoz Princeton

Lead the Sandoz Government Pricing team in validation, calculation, and analytics related to Sandoz’s participation in the following government programs to ensure compliance and integrity, along with insights to enable good business decisions:
• Medicare Part B Program
• VA Federal Supply Schedule Program
• Medicaid Drug Rebate Program

• All State Reporting and Compliance Commitments
Major Accountabilities
• High Compliance IQ – Ensure very accurate and timely GP reporting - Ensures the team performs the calculation for all of the following compliantly, on time and best representative of the business transactions of Sandoz: Average Manufacture Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP) non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (nFAMP) and Federal Ceiling Price (FCP)
• Ensures the compliant and timely completion of State Program and Supplemental Program filings within the allotted time.
• Ensures robust update and completion of SOP’s, SOX documentation and price calculation methodologies.
• Proactively identifies and resolves compliance issues, questions, or pricing requests received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
• Partners effectively with cross-functional teams to review commercial and business licensing contracts and amendments and Pricing to assess government pricing requirements and implications (Compliance and Financial)


• Reviews BDL proposed deals and provides insights related to Government Pricing, Operations and proposed language that enhances compliance and profitability

• Provides proactive and reactive analytics and insights to the Business that helps improve Forecasting, Contracting Decisions, Pricing Decisions and Timing, Business Planning

• Provides input and analysis on proposed and new Government Regulations. Leads recommendation for optimal implementation of new regulations (Systems, Process, People, and Financial). Flawless implementation of newly enacted rules and regulations

• Expert in all aspects of Government Pricing either directly or can solve the issue through research and the team’s efforts

• Provides excellent insights to GtN Forecasting Accuracy and Business Decisions; Moves the Team seamlessly from GP Reporting & Compliance to GP Insights

• Provides strong guidance to the successful implementation of Revitas GP systems

• Actively contributes to the Company’s Compliance to US Government Commitments; Active Contributor to GP Compliance Committee deliverables and presentations; Ensures all agreed upon Work stream activities and Projects are delivered well and on time

• Collaborates very well across all internal and external stakeholders (Examples but not limited to: Contract Operations, GtN and BPA Finance, Commercial Leaders, BDL, Legal, Compliance, External Legal and Consultants, Novartis & Alcon)
