The Director of Catering Sales is part of the company’s Marketing department and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. She/he will lead a team of Regional Sales Managers and have a measurable impact on our ability to continue to grow and build sales by guiding the Zoes Catering Sales Department. This person builds the brand's service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process. This person provides leadership to RSM’s to deliver results and provide leadership to develop and execute company initiatives specific to the catering revenue center.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership support, mentorship, training and guidance that positively impacts the growth of the RSM. Invest in growing each RSM through touch bases and performance evaluations.
Build collaborative partnerships with Regional VP’s and Regional Directors and Regional Operators to ensure the catering team has the support and guidance needed to deliver results.
Create and implement Brand and Marketing efforts with a focus on all Catering Marketing initiatives.
Provide guidance to RSM’s in identifying market-appropriate tactics and solutions to catering issues.
Diagnose and advise on situational awareness of market revenue challenges raised by RSM.
Develop catering campaigns and closely monitor and address progress.
Communicate brand standards to RSM’s who will ensure they are met in the execution of their teams caterings.
Develop cost-effective marketing strategies and forecast annual sales objectives.
Review quarterly sales / statistical metrics and own Catering Sales budget.

Qualifications
8- 10 years of progressive professional experience in catering roles for within the dining or retail industries.
Experience working intimately with Operations centric culture a plus.
Bachelor’s degree from college or university, MBA a plus.
Proven ability to create, implement, and own strategic development of sales marketing plans with the objective of growing a business
Demonstrated ability to build, develop, inspire and recognize diverse teams focused on marking strategy development and execution.
Prior responsibility managing a budget and demonstrating a disciplined approach to analyzing, presenting, and taking ownership of results and return on investment.
Relevant experience balancing both the strategic and tactical challenges of meeting financial goals.
Proven expertise in building consensus and positively influencing marketing initiatives within an environment that includes very diverse stakeholders. Must be able to leverage relationships make decisions consistent with brand strategy.
