Strategically develops and drives the execution of Volvo CE’s remarketing business activities and resources to support Volvo CE’s remarketing business plan.

Main Responsibilities
Improves and insures engagement from Volvo CE dealers in order that all are actively selling and driving increased resale value such that the business enterprise’s profits are maximized (i.e., customer, dealer, and Volvo CE)
Optimizes residual values of Volvo CE products and improves used equipment volumes and turnover through Volvo CE’s dealer organization
Thinks innovatively by leveraging possible alternative business models and channels (i.e., Arrow Trucks) to achieve business goals

Other Tasks/Responsibilities
Leads, develops and manages Volvo CE’s remarketing business team to achieve stated objectives
Manages both long-term and short-term marketing and sales strategy in North America and areas of Latin America
Optimizes Volvo CE’s machine residual values (i.e., measure, set baseline, develop strategy, execute, review with management, and adjust to current business climate)
Manage Volvo CE’s remarketing equipment program by establishing and maintaining close relationships with Volvo dealers, Financial Companies (VFS), Auction companies and international relevant UE trade company relationships (including Volvo CE Dealers)
Insures that lease returns are managed effectively and for optimal enterprise value
Designs and manages transactional risk management financial and statistical tracking report through used equipment IT system

Key Competencies
Proven leadership track record and capabilities
Proficient competency required in problem solving, data analysis, organization, leadership, verbal and written communications (i.e., must be able to lead his/her team; however, he/she must be able to understand and manage applicable details when necessary
Ability to manage profit center and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Required Experience
Sound Commercial experience of at least 10 years in the Construction Equipment Industry, most notably the Remarketing channel

Education/Professional Qualifications
BA degree required
MBA desired
Fluency in Spanish
Working Environment
Extensive travel required
