The Marketing IT/GMO (GMO) Director - Program Manager-Office (PMO) role offers a great opportunity to become part of the marketing transformation occurring at the company, which is the key to the GTM (go-to-market) vision to land best-in-class industry solutions (both internal and external) across Marketing, Sales and Partner. This effort has wide ranging global scope and is a high visibility role as part of this effort at the company. This role operates within Marketing IT/ Global Marketing Operations (GMO) - a high performing team of professionals who specialize in the delivery of global sales and marketing capabilities and services.

The GMO organization consists of the following components:
1. Marketing Technology (MarTech): the mission of this team is to build a cloud based, modern marketing ecosystem for Microsoft marketers to transform marketing at our company
2. Marketing Service Centers (MSC): tasked with delivering highly scaled, compliant services to field and corporate marketers, driving marketing efficiency and effectiveness
3. Marketing Reporting & Analytics (MRA); enables empowered business decisions through consistent and accurate data, reporting and insights for the marketer, seller and partner communities
4. Marketing Privacy Program (MPP): manages and administers a centralized, highly efficient field privacy program for SMSG sales & marketing organizations that scales globally, demonstrates Microsoft’s commitment to privacy and reduces field privacy risks Within this construct, the Marketing IT/GMO (GMO) Director - Program Management Office (PMO) is a key role working across the GMO and the Marketing IT Engineering organizations. The selected individual will work with cross-functional teams to effectively manage and deliver on Marketing governance, operations and transformation. In this critical role, you will be responsible for leading the governance, facilitating planning and prioritization of projects at the leadership level that incorporate all GMO functions and creating transparency around our key initiatives through a rhythm of the business (ROB). You will manage the detailed implementation, execution and support of organizational and process changes that are part of this program. Additionally, you will drive programmatic knowledge management, communications & training facilitation to deliver these insights across key stakeholder groups.

Key Responsibilities:
• Governance and Change Management
• Creation and execution of a comprehensive governance and change management plan for the organization.
• Ensure the GMO change management efforts tie into ROB and existing mechanisms wherever possible to drive changes into core business processes.
• Work with Marketing and IT leaders and our Readiness teams to develop plans to address not just the process changes, but the cultural changes needed for our success.
• Creation of process documentation and changes that are easily repeatable and capable of scaling with our growth Leadership Engagement
• Engage with Field and Corporate Marketing leaders, providing direction, guidance and an open forum that enables a closed feedback loop, while also developing mechanisms for our Leadership Team to have the right engagement with those leaders around our transformation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong business relationships, individually, and across FTE teams and vendors in the field and at HQ.
• Engage broadly with capability owners and teams to monitor plans and progress, manage issues and risks, and plan and execute on the committed roadmaps. This would also involve managing prioritization and sequencing activities that engage other teams to align with the overall Change plan
• Lead risk and issue management for the GMO Drive Continuous Improvement
• Ensure standard, consistent processes and feedback loops exist
• Provide value-added program management guidance to team members to support successful program delivery (e.g. project management methodologies and best practices).

Basic Qualifications:
• 10 plus years of experience driving program and project management, resource management, and implementing new/changed business processes
• 10 plus years of experience in program management across tools, BI, data and cloud programs; business management experience is a plus.
• BA/BS in Operations, Business Management, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or related degrees
• Experience with large scale change management
Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP certification
• Technical understanding of Sales and BI platforms (SQL, PowerBI, SharePoint, PowerPivot, etc.) Experience with Global solution deployment and field stakeholder management.
