Drive overall marketing strategy - own branding, positioning, messaging and creative from prospecting phase to roll out.
Synthesize market intelligence & customer insights to develop a deep understanding of our potential customers, who they are and what segments we serve. Craft & develop compelling audience-specific messaging for client industries.
Work effectively across internal teams to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages.
Drive messaging across all media (website, social, print, conferences, Amazon channels and more).
Perform deep data driven analysis of businesses and business performance to surface actionable insights.
Act as a thought-leader for outside of the box thinking, constantly uncovering new opportunities to grow acquisition and improve retention.
Develop the strategy and manage the marketing implementation that drives product engagement. Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the organization’s ability to meet its goals. Manage the execution of initiatives from idea through launch, while setting and continuously managing the right expectations with all relevant stakeholders.
Communicate marketing plans and strategy to senior leadership
Work with the Product Management team to align on features
Engage the creative team to develop creative assets and campaigns.
Work with PR, Social Media and Customer Service to craft a press strategy and social media approach as well as inform customer service talking points.
Partner with Finance, Analytics and Data Science to define and measure success.
Basic Qualifications
Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant work experience in marketing
Customer obsession
Proven success developing business, marketing planning/analysis, opportunity identification and optimizing marketing investment
You must be excited to challenge and disrupt the status quo, and highly driven by the prospect of growing an innovative business within a game-changing company.
You must be comfortable with and find opportunity in ambiguity
Strong ability to collect and leverage customer insights to inform marketing strategy
History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
A bias for action for developing awesome marketing assets
Ability to easily transition from high level strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution
Superior oral and written communication skills
