The Role: You will have the responsibility of leading the Health Insurance Practice at J.D. Power. As the global leader in using customer experience management to drive business results, J.D. Power is looking to leverage its brand strength and domain expertise in the health insurance industry to significantly expand its insurance practice. We are seeking a health insurance practice leader to develop and execute the strategy that will drive the growth of the business over the next 3-5 years, with a focus on building on and expanding the existing company products and capabilities.

The Career Opportunity: This role is a senior leadership position within the Insurance Practice. Help lead the practice and grow the J.D. Power business at our North American clients.
The Team / The Business: Efficient, integrated and highly skilled team of insurance experts who work alongside of skilled research designers, account executives, and statisticians. Work in a dynamic and fast paced team environment.
Your Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree from a college or university, Master’s Degree preferred.
• Advanced health insurance industry knowledge and experience.
• Strategic business development experience.
• Demonstrated experience increasing revenue/sales to existing and new clients.
• Expert level communication and leadership skills
• Strong consulting background.
• Professional writing skills.
• Proven ability to deliver presentations in front of Senior Executives both in the U.S. and Canada.
• Strong understanding of all operational aspects of the health insurance industry.
• Familiarity, participation or membership in industry associations.
Responsibilities:
• Interact strategically with key industry stakeholders
• Identify and develop sales opportunities with the sales team
• Give feedback to the science and research teams to enhance quality of insights and deliverables
• Create and deliver thought leadership – publications, conferences, etc.
• Be the “general contractor” for the practice P&L
• Delivery of onsite client presentations
• Work with the product team to design and launch new products
• Lead consulting projects with clients
• Craft and drive marketing campaigns
• 50% Travel Required
• 10 Years or more of Industry Experience
