Yahoo is seeking a talented, experienced, motivated and creative Director of Business Development for our Global Partnerships team. This position offers an opportunity for you to leverage your strong understanding and experience working with Carriers, ISP’s, App Developers and App Distribution companies worldwide inside one of the world’s largest digital media company. In this role, you will be directly responsible establishing, developing and executing key distribution, product, and monetization partnerships for Yahoo, with a focus on building and expanding Yahoo’s relationships with global companies.

In this role, you will be scouting strategic and meaningful scalable revenue opportunities, engaging with prospects, running models to quality the leads, negotiating deals, in addition to analyzing overall deal performance and identifying ways to optimize and grow existing partnerships. This role also requires close collaboration with business leads across the Yahoo organization and with business partners.
Responsibilities:
Source, structure, lead, negotiate and close strategic deals
Work with internal stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Membership, Finance, Legal, Partner Management among others) to align on priorities and ensure support for deals and strategic partnerships
Identify opportunities to grow and strengthen new and existing partnerships that deliver value to Yahoo
Define product and service solutions that meet partner's and Yahoo’s needs
Build and analyze business models to evaluate the financial and strategic costs and benefits of partnerships
Drive relationship building process at multiple levels between partner and Yahoo, including at the senior executive level
Work with internal teams to ensure organizational understanding of partner product strategy and needs
Collaborate with other team members
Minimum Job Qualifications:
Proven ability to establish and grow trusted relationships with executives, peers and business partners in the partner segments like Carriers, ISP’s, App Developers and App Distribution companies worldwide
A BS/BA is required; MBA from a top tier program and/or equivalent experience is preferred
MBA from a top tier program, investment banking, consulting and/or equivalent experience is preferred
Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills
Proven ability to establish and grow trusted relationships with executives, peers and business partners
Comfortable overseeing projects and leading teams
Strong independent leader, a strategic thinker and an accomplished communicator
Flexible, enthusiastic, and self-directed; thrives in constantly-evolving environment and is able to deliver results
Superior organization and time management skills; strong attention to detail and great follow-through
