Director Global Deal Desk Operations Salesforce San Francisco

The Director, Global Deal Desk Operations will be responsible for execution of a portfolio of programs and projects that scale the Deal Desk and Sales organizations. This role is a hybrid of planning, operations and communications that will work across numerous departments within Salesforce, including Sales, Pricing Deal Desk, Legal, Revenue Recognition, Sales Operations, and Sales Enablement.

Your Impact:
Manage Project Portfolio, project planning, scheduling and management across multiple concurrent projects globally.
Translate program objectives into execution strategy (tactical and strategic), lead and successfully execute the strategy.
Ensure data is collected to appropriately inform decision making for mitigating risks, resolving issues and driving adoption.
Manage delivery/communications to business expectations, delivery to schedule, and delivery to budget.

Utilize internal tools and an agile mindset to create a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation and learning; promotes continuous improvement.

Build a scalable reporting infrastructure for Global Deal Desk operations and package findings into presentation-ready content for Salesforce executives.

Build executive presentations and manage the Global Deal Desk messaging strategy.


Required Skills/Experience:
5-7 years of hands-on project management experience managing complex programs and initiatives. PMP preferred.
Minimum BA/BS degree required.
Advanced degree strongly preferred (i.e. MBA, or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of enterprise software experience. Strongly preferred: CRM application experience, or experience with products and/or processes related to sales, marketing, or support and services.

Experience executing in a cross-functional, matrix management environment.
Experience creating and analyzing key performance indicators and continually refining and optimizing adoption strategies based on data.
