Designs, implements, directs and manages general accounting functions. Develops implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies. Handles highly complex accounting issues and fills accounting leadership role on significant transactions and new business activities. Supports mergers, acquisitions and investment activities. Performs accounting research and new contract review. Leads integration of transition requirements for acquisitions. Supports joint venture accounting and other general accounting activities. Manages several accounting functions through management of professional staff.


Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 10 years experience; minimum 7 years prior management experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent technical accounting skills; ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously; ability to delegate work to staff; strong management and leadership skills.
