This position is responsible for leading and coordinating the ethics programs and processes for one of Raytheon’s four business divisions: Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS). The individual will serve as the primary point-of-contact between RMS and the Corporate Ethics Office and Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer to assure effective implementation of ethics awareness and reporting processes. This position advises and supports leadership in evaluating ethics issues and establishing and enforcing ethics policies and practices. The Ethics Officer reports to the RMS Vice President and General Counsel (solid line) and to the Vice President, Ethics and Business Conduct (dotted line).

· Leads and directs implementation of Raytheon's Ethics and Business Conduct Program and assures consistency in approach to compliance and standards of business conduct.
· Provides input to the development of corporate policy related to ethics and compliance issues. Assures effective training and communication of ethics and compliance policies.
· Refers alleged misconduct, compliance related matters, and other significant issues to the RMS OGC or to Corporate Ethics, as appropriate, for oversight and direction.
· Functions as ethics advisor, responding to requests for opinion, including advice to leaders and employees on planning, organizing, and administering courses of action to deal with ethics issues.
· Collaborates with line management and other staff functions to integrate ethics and compliance into the total scope of the business and recommends strategies (training, communication, etc.) to reinforce proper business conduct.
· Assists Vice President, Ethics and Business Conduct in developing continuous programs for training, communicating, implementing and monitoring all aspects of the Corporate Ethics Program.
· Assures that a confidential communications process is maintained, which enables employees with ethics-related concerns to surface them without fear of retribution.
· In consultation with the Office of General Counsel, develops and assures that procedures are in place for addressing violations of Raytheon's Code of Conduct, including procedures for investigating and resolving allegations and for appropriate and consistent corrective action.
Required Skills:
· 14 years of relevant experience with related bachelors or 12 years with related masters or 8 years with related PhD.
· Proven record of leadership experience and people management skills as it relates to managing teams and motivating, coaching, and developing employees
· Ability to interface at all levels of the organization and maintain strong relationships with senior level internal and external customers,
· Excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills and the ability to learn quickly, teach ethics principles accessibly, influence senior leadership, work independently with minimal supervision, manage and prioritize multiple tasks and lead intermediate projects in a team environment.
· Demonstrated ability to engage RMS business leaders to drive cross-functional implementation of new procedural solutions and work instructions in a timely and efficient manner.
· Proactive, well organized temperament with ability to effectively manage volume and prioritize accordingly
· Sound judgment and meticulous attention to detail
· Ability to work in a heavily matrixed environment.
· U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date
