Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Director of Client Delivery to manage an Agile Project Management team who will focus on key accounts under the Foundry umbrella. The Director will ensure the integrity of the process using Lean and Agile methodologies. The Director will also support pre-sales activities, such as speaking to potential clients about our process and understanding the fit of the engagement. Finally, the position will support early engagement activities such as lean product inception meetings and roadmap creation.

● You have 16+ years of experience in technology or related industry
● You have 7+ years of client facing project or product management experience
● You have 7+ years managing teams
● You have experience with enterprise software implementations and deployments
● You’re organized and take comfort in noting all the details
● You have hands-on experience with agile practices and lean product development
● You value clear and pragmatic approaches to problem solving
● You have excellent communication skills
● You take pride in making the customer happy even if the solution is different from the original request—You know how to explain the benefits of the better solution
● You have the ability and willingness to adapt and iterate

● You have hands-on experience with agile project management tools such as Pivotal Tracker, Jira or Rally
● You have the ability to focus on the customer’s goals as well as evaluate marketplace relevance
Key Responsibilities
● Provide project guidance and individual development for a team of Agile Project Managers
● Develop and provide career growth for associates who report to you
● Work closely with Cognizant recruiting on hiring additional Agile Project Managers
● Provide regular project reporting to business partners and key client stakeholders
● Develop and implement best practices relating to project delivery and implementation
● Responsible for ensuring that lean development processes and agile practices and ceremonies are executed by the project teams
● Responsible for identifying, escalating and resolving project risks
● Responsible for identifying and presenting new project opportunities with Cognizant business partners and Cognizant clients
● Act as the key point of contact for all new project intake and client kick-off meetings
● Coordinates staffing of projects with Director of Engineering
● Contributes to internal initiatives and projects on an as-needed basis
