Fundamentally accountable for business value attainment for software products and deliverables
• Provide leadership to a team of 50+ direct reports and direct their efforts in line with organization product roadmaps and strategy
• Communicate and translate Dell Commerce vision/strategy to staff

• Prepare and present reports to the leadership team.
• Develop next generation leaders thru mentoring, coaching and succession planning.
• Ensure the team’s morale and engagement levels are high.
• Adopt new technologies & engineering processes to achieve organization goals - productization, cost reduction, productivity, quality, on-time delivery, software-simplification
• Plan, design, develop and manage a matrix project management office team, including leveraged project management staff
• Effectively Manage relationships with internal engineering and Business Partners.
• Clearly understand Dell's short and long-term goals and align Application’s Direction and Team’s objectives with Organization goals.
• Prior experience in managing global projects with teams across multiple time zones is highly preferred.

• Manages highly skilled technical teams to ensure application development activities
• Learns new applications, Dell-specific technologies, system behavior and business processes as they relates to customer needs.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of product development experience in MSFT Technologies. Hands on experience in .net, WCF, Windows Forms are mandatory.
• 8+ years of experience in an software engineering leadership role – Application development, maintenance and support
• 8+ years of People Management experience.
• Knowledge, skills and abilities required to resolve the most complex software engineering issues.
• Experience with various development methodologies – MSF, Waterfall, Agile.
• Strong functional understanding of the current Applications and business domain. • Strong Problem Solving skills, Analytical skills, Troubleshooting and ability to learn on the fly.
• Experience in working with global engineering and business teams
• Ability to provide leadership in a matrix organization.
• Strong presentation skills, written and oral communication skills
• Should possess excellent organizational, planning and time management skills
• Should be competent on logical thinking with creative problem solving ability
