The Director of post-production builds, tracks, and maintains budgets for assigned projects. This position requires strong managerial tasks and a thorough understanding of post-production.
Responsibilities:
Directly oversee and manage personnel, including Editorial Crews
Develop departmental standards, guidelines and methodologies for current and upcoming productions.

Work with head of post-production to develop schedules and budget needs for constantly changing environment.
Stays informed of production, VFX, Post Production practices on current productions, across departments.
Implement and maintain practices & workflow for all elements of post-production.
Participate in defining department goals and identifies strategies and helps implement them into production.
Liaise with line producer and accountants for budgeting process.
Coordinate and assist with members of the Tech department staff as needed.
Work with vendors to gather bids based on film projects.
Collaborate with marking, distribution and legal teams.
Oversee post-production on multiple shows as needed.
Skills/Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of production management experience in an entertainment environment.
Must be able to multitask and work effectively under changing priorities and daily time constraints.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Should have a working knowledge of the NLE systems such as Avid Systems, Davinci Resolve, and Adobe applications.
Must have both broad and specific knowledge of the many tools and software used in production and post.
Should have skills working with Google applications, Microsoft office, and budgeting software.
