Director Business Integrity Facebook Austin

Facebook is seeking a leader to manage the Business Integrity functions within the Sales Planning & Operations organization. The Sales Planning & Operations organization is the operational engine that scales Facebook’s advertising businesses, including a set of global shared services focused on scaling our digital supply chain with an emphasis on operational excellence, quality, and data/analytics. The Business Integrity team protects users and ensures safe connections between users and businesses through the operational enforcement of ads, pages, and other business policies.

This individual will assume leadership responsibilities in developing our talented team members around the world as well as driving cross-functional impact with our internal and external partners. Internal partners span everyone from product and engineering to global policy and legal, as well as partnering with other SP&O functions across business planning, field enablement, and sister operational teams. External partners are our outsourcing vendors with a large core operational footprint globally.

Candidates will be data driven, self-motivated, and flexible to frequent changes. They are expected to think creatively about nebulous issues and are passionate about problem solving. They will have strong operational instincts, and demonstrated ability to create highly scalable and automated approaches. They will have led organizations and will be able to demonstrate a sustained ability to hire and develop talent. They will be strong communicators and collaborators, and be able to work successfully across teams and countries. This role is based in either Menlo Park or Austin and reports to the VP of Sales Planning & Operations.
Responsibilities

Set a vision for how to balance user trust and client experiences, solving for both global and local challenges and needs, and the ways to manifest that across each business line and product area in Facebook’s family of apps and services
Develop strong cross-functional partnerships with policy, legal, engineering, data science, sales, product management and other operational teams at Facebook in order to implement optimal solutions
Build scalable solutions to address user, advertiser and page admin pain-points and identify automation opportunities as we take down malicious actors at scale
Identify trends and key insights to drive impact to team goals including user experience and operational efficiency
Lead a global organization across 9 sites in North America, EMEA, APAC, and LATAM, establishing a strong organizational culture and providing mentorship, guidance and career development to members of the team
Manage relationships with our outsourcing partners and vendors globally

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or similar)
15+ years of experience in online operations/consultancy/analytics or related industries
10+ years management experience, ideally in a role involving policy, strategy or operations
Vendor management experience strongly preferred, but not a must
Significant experience leading and developing high performing teams
Experience in a fast-paced start-up environment a plus
Proven ability to make sound business decisions
Ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner
Passionate about problem solving and the potential for innovative solutions that online marketing has created
Experience working with global teams
