This role is to be part of the BCS Management Team, reporting to the global Head of BCS and Global Investor Sales COO, to support the Global Investor Sales teams within M&SS. The role would leverage technology to build/devise systems alerts & dashboards to ensure a robust & preventive control framework for Sales in line with global enhancement initiatives across Markets & Securities Services.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the Business leadership, and control/functional heads, to inventory existing end-to-end controls, as well as future state expectations.
• Assist in the management of key regulatory relationships
• Work with Technology and businesses/functions to efficiently build target state controls, system alerts, manager dashboards and re-engineer processes to ensure effective controls.
• Develop and execute the plan for robust intraday, end of day, weekly, monthly, quarterly etc. controls framework
• Develop and execute the plan for meeting regulatory standards around conduct risk and other control issues
• Evolve & enhance the MCA for the business lines globally
• Develop target state “evidence” of controls – attestations, automated click to review dashboards etc. for the business
• Interact with Audit and other Control groups to drive forward control enhancement initiatives and investigate control failures
Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience in delivering change-related projects
• Very strong influence management and relationship skills
• Leadership skills in bringing together processes that include different businesses, regions and support functions.
• Advanced level experience in a Markets/ICG control related roles
• Demonstrated strong business maturity in past roles
• Excellent communicator - internal and external
• Global mindset, with regional/product understanding
• Strong Financial skills, analytical skills & strategic planning skills
• Experience in dealing with Regulatory authorities and an understanding of the key control related themes in the capital markets sector.
• Specific subject matter expertise regarding Markets products & services, and trading systems and controls.
• Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and “no surprises” approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent reviews.
