The Sr Director, Sales Strategy & Operations role is a hybrid of strategic planning, sales optimization, and sales operations. The successful candidate will establish him/herself as a trusted advisor to the EVP and COO of our Marketing Cloud business, driving success across all regions and segments. Candidates must bring strategic vision to the business, identifying new and innovative approaches to driving growth and supplying an objective perspective akin to what a management consultant or experienced sales operations executive might bring.

Responsibilities:
Lead ongoing analysis of business performance to support daily operations and quarterly business reviews
Proactively identify, develop and drive longer-term strategies and initiatives that will deliver rapid growth & superior execution
Identify untapped market potential; design and support strategic initiatives including fixing weak areas of the business and investing in emerging markets
Work cross-functionally with distribution management teams to develop go- to-market strategies and execution plans for new geographies, products and market segments
Required Skills/Experience:
10+ years of work experience in sales operations or equivalent function with significant exposure to sales teams, OR experience in management consulting with prior project work in sales and operations
BS/BA required; MBA a plus, but not required
Strong executive presence and communication skills
Stellar problem solving skills
Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency
Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, yet translate those results to easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations
Building executive presentations, crafting the message of the cloud
Sales experience a plus, but not required
