The Devices Strategy, Portfolio and Planning team drives product strategy and planning across Microsoft’s hardware products, including Surface, Microsoft Band, Surface Hub, and Phones.

• Drive cross-device multi-year roadmap and business planning
• Drive cross-device portfolio analysis and management
• Analyze the competitive landscape and forecast competitive scenarios
• Identify and evaluate key customer and category trends
• Drive alignment on target customers, synthesize analysis of customer needs, and develop and prioritize customer scenarios
• Identify and analyze future opportunities, assess future market dynamics, and define plans and business models to pursue the opportunities
Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, product management, and/or product planning in the technology industry, with roles of increasing responsibility and impact
• Outstanding track record of driving high-impact results in a matrixed environment, working collaboratively across boundaries and influencing leaders in other teams
• Strong capacity for leading change, dealing with ambiguity, and developing creative solutions in a fast-moving space
• Creative strategic thinker who can identify new product and business opportunities and develop actionable plans to take advantage of those opportunities
• Deep analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to derive valuable insights that drive action
• Strong understanding of hardware and software technology and able to evaluate new technologies holistically
• Excellent executive-level communication skills
• BA/BS degree required, MBA is a plus.
