Egencia is looking for an analytical, entrepreneurial, creative and experienced Director of Sales Operations. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders globally in their efforts to enable sales & account management efforts. You will work with these leaders to identify opportunities, make decisions and implement improvements that drive results. You will also collaborate closely across the organization with varied groups to ensure compliance to processes.

The Director of Sales Operations will build and manage sales operations discipline by establishing process and increasing efficiency. Ideal candidates must be analytically oriented, have extensive background creating operational process, managing resources, as well as hiring and training personnel. Collaboration is a “must-have” and will be a critical part in contributing successfully to the team.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for management of the following Sales Operations areas: Contract Management & Administration, Proposals, & Sales Engineering
Manage the activities and performance of a team of sales operations professionals to meet and exceed goals; set expectations and provide guidance and direction, as needed
Facilitate employee team meetings to build cohesiveness and improve team results
Apply industry best practices and process to enhance productivity, quality, and performance.
Lead the team through design, development, and deployment of enhanced business processes.
Help set appropriate project schedules and workloads, and manage ongoing changes
Maintain knowledge of global corporate travel business
Drive projects focused upon key business processes that influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, growth, cost effectiveness, and product/system quality
Coordinate efforts with finance to justify R.O.I. on all projects and initiatives
Sit with sales leadership to enable sales strategy and process
Act as change agent to instill a quality culture throughout organization and drive measurable business process improvement

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
Superior analytic and problem solving skills with demonstrated experience in driving decision making
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to communicate in a manner which ensures message is understood by all
Strong record of leadership and ability to work effectively in teams distributed globally
Ability to build relationships through mutual trust, respect and understanding, and to manage relationships across multiple groups with very diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated ability to develop analytical frameworks to solve complex business issues
Creativity, self-confidence, and flexibility
Self-motivated with demonstrated strengths managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment, and driving them to completion with limited direction
Ability to travel as needed both nationally and internationally
Travel industry experience preferred
