We are looking for a dynamic Global Director of Business Marketing to collaborate with both Brand and Revenue teams to oversee our trade marketing initiatives globally. You will be responsible for building creative marketing strategies that will align with the overall business goals to showcase Spotify solutions for business and marketing partners. Lead, coach and inspire a talented team of 14 marketing managers located in 12 markets
Development of marketing plans (from experiential, digital and social) focused on creating awareness and consideration of Spotify’s ad solutions to brands and the advertising industry globally.
Align with global marketing and revenue teams to facilitate a global to local marketing strategy to achieve regional success
Work closely with the regional revenue leads to understand marketplace conditions and provide solutions that align with Spotify for Brands value proposition
Develop efficient processes and systems built for scale and globalization.
Support any trade PR in conjunction with the PR team, Contents & Insights, and the regional sales leads
Identify key national and local trade organizations to partner with and act as Spotify’s liaison
Provide regional expertise back to the global revenue org to support product development and strategic revenue planning.
Who you are
BA or BS degree; MBA a plus
8+ years experience in B2B marketing or a related field
You have managed teams locally (or preferably globally) and have experience engaging with teams cross-functionally across different departments of an organization
You have deep understanding of the media landscape locally and globally
You have the ability to mix creativity with strategic thinking, and demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills
You have strong communication skills, both written and verbally
