Juniper is seeking an experienced operations professional to execute, align and improve the operations for Juniper’s Product Line Management (PLM) organization. This role will lead the process definition and execution for key product deliverables that are within the PLM organization and which cross over to field sales, engineering, manufacturing operations, product marketing, legal and documentation. Juniper Development and Innovation (JDI) is the organization responsible for Product Management and for the Engineering of Junipers products and solutions. JDI Operations is the organization responsible for optimizing, aligning and accelerating JDI execution. JDI Operations works closely with and supports the Product Management and Engineering organization. The job role reports into the Sr. Director, Portfolio Planning and Optimization in JDI Operations and is based in Sunnyvale.

In this role this person will closely collaborate with the SVP Product Management and lead staff, covering the entire JDI product portfolio. This individual will therefore have a significant opportunity to impact the growth, direction and future of Juniper. The more specific set of responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional and transformational programs, such as a program for Feature Lifecycle Automation. Create Product Management deliverables (e.g. roadmaps) and ensure communications across relevant teams. Maintain a budget across the team.
Support key activities like Last Time Buy, Integrated Business Planning (including forecasting) and Annual Business Planning. Coordinate pricing approvals with finance, and train organization for the new process, new hire onboarding, maintain PLM collaboration tools, and research any new tools that are required.
Qualifications:
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to create solutions for identified problems and to implement these solutions
Demonstrable experience in managing programs, running transformational processes and strong change management capabilities in medium/large size organizations with a highly matrixed environment.
Six sigma certification is a plus.
Experience in working with Product Management and Sales teams in either networking or telecommunications industry is also a plus.
Outstanding execution and team-working skills – ability to define and structure problems, work towards a solution, translate these into action plans and successfully implement.
Ability to work accurately and work on different assignments in parallel.
B.S. in engineering or related discipline
7+ years of high-technology operations and/or program management experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
