Director Business Development Army CGI Manassas

This role is responsible for building the pipeline for organic growth by ensuring excellence in the planning and delivery of full life cycle business development activities to the US Army. The successful executive will drive strategic planning, management and direction of bid and proposal (B&P) resources, target identification, capture strategies, proposal management, contract award, and customer relations. This senior executive will collaborate with counterparts across the Federal Sector to ensure that best-of-breed solutions are brought forward to customers and that CGI is appropriately positioned within Defense agencies.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

You will represent CGI Federal's Army Account as the face to the US Army for strategic and tactical business development and solution engineering opportunities. It is anticipated the successful candidate possesses a ready "portfolio" of US Army customers to immediately execute an effective Executive Level Call Plan while immersing themselves in the CGI Federal culture and capabilities. Initial accountabilities will be to qualify the existing robust CGI Army Pipeline and within the first 6 months, grow the pipeline within identified US Army customers.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 10+ years Federal business development experience (if post-active duty, a minimum of five (5) years)
• Proven track record of winning competitive Army business, including wins on IDIQ vehicles
• Solid relationships with key government contracting personnel in the company’s core business lines
• Demonstrated technical expertise in the company’s core business lines including Enterprise IT and Application Technology Development.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build win-win partnerships within a firm/corporation, with a particular focus on understanding how to leverage technology differentiators
• Demonstrated ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in strategy recommendations to senior management
• Excellent communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills are required as well as an ability to inspire confidence and provide business development leadership throughout the company

• They will be results-oriented with a strong track record of delivering for their team
• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree. A Master’s or other advanced degrees/relevant certifications are preferred.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
