The Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) is responsible for successfully leading a team of individual contributors (IC’s) toward high quality engagements which result in very satisfied customers. The TDM is an input and reviewer of the staffing forecast and process, teaming with the Global Resource/Capacity Management (GRM/GCM). Drives and is responsible for billable utilization targets; drives team technical & professional role readiness & participates in workforce & capacity planning as appropriate for their Time-zone/Domain. Hires appropriate UX talent to meet the demands of Domain head count objectives as determined by workforce planning. The TDM may be involved in Account planning as it relates to needed resource capabilities.

Responsibilities
¨ Develop organizational talent and support recruiting of diverse, talented individuals who meet the current skills and hiring criteria for role. Hiring is directly attributable to closing WFP gaps.
¨ Liaise with Americas and Services HQ business leaders to ensure proper alignment of UX in engagements
¨ Transform Services by ensuring all engagements Lead with Cloud, Configure before Customize and focus on Solutions (not Products)
¨ Focus on team’s skills and knowledge of ‘what we sell, how we deliver, and how we operate’ by ensuring that your team has a Professional Skills Readiness Roadmap for their role, role guide is updated minimum every 6 months, and personal development plans are in place
Ideal candidates will have 15+ years of design leadership experience and should be self-motivated, confident in working at a senior level in customers and within Microsoft and comfortable in working in a matrix organization. They need to be able to achieve results through influence in addition to direct management across multiple organizations.
Qualifications:
¨ Post-graduate degree in Business Management or comparable work experience
¨ Proven record of delivering business value
¨ Proven record of pre-sales support, project envisioning, planning, development and deployment
¨ Understanding of markets, customers and related technology; have the background to provide leadership in the practice and a demonstrated effectiveness in consulting and client management
¨ Business process and people management skills or related experience
¨ Understanding of customer and partner business and IT environments, and have demonstrated skills designing experiences deploying technology to solve business problems
¨ Demonstrated expertise in managing relationships across customers, business groups and industries
¨ Demonstrated work incubating and managing new businesses and capabilities
¨ Demonstration of creative leadership skills leveraging ideation, delivery, usability and support
¨ Proven organizational cross-working and communication skills
¨ Passion for building intuitive, engaging, enterprise experiences
¨ Strong written and verbal communication skills
¨ Self-motivated and drive for excellence

Travel is an integral part of this position as are high levels of recognition and visibility. Travel can be as high as 25% as is demanded by the needs of our customers and our business. This position location is flexible within the Americas.
