The Global Marketing Operations (GMO) group is a high-performing team of professionals who specialize in the creation and delivery of marketing capabilities and services globally. Within the GMO organization is the Marketing Service Team providing services to land modern marketing capabilities globally.
The Marketing Services team is globally dispersed to partner with Corporate stakeholders and Field marketers in time zone specific locations, and to support the most effective deployment model for corporate strategies and field deployments. The GMO Services team employs Services Managers who provide a local GMO point of contact to support adoption and landing of campaigns and programs in the field, and manage world-class marketing hubs to land modern marketing strategies that take the burden of managing campaign execution off subsidiary marketers so they can concentrate on local strategies.
The GMO Marketing Services is hiring a new Marketing Services Leader to manage a team and build and deploy modern marketing services that can land globally.

The key functions of the Modern Marketing Services Senior Manager include:

•Ensure MSC services are aligned to GMO capabilities while managing the overall readiness and onboarding of these capabilities in the field and MSC. Where needed, identify growth opportunity areas to ensure MSC services continue to expand and keep pace with GMO portfolio and overall business needs, thus enabling marketers to achieve measureable and improved business outcomes.
•Coordinate internally within GMO relevant functions on ensuring the most optimal implementation across the deployment of the Marketing Services Desk.
•Partner with marketing stakeholders across a portfolio of audiences, segments and business areas.
•Educate stakeholders in the usage of the Services framework and offerings and stimulate demand and increased usage for these solutions
•Manage corporate facing communications across all phases of deployment.
•Ensure Field and Corp stakeholders understand the value of the services, including how MSC offerings are planned, designed and developed, to ultimately communicate the impact to business in tangible terms.
•Positively influence stakeholder perceptions by communicating relevant value propositions of MSC strategy - messaging this at appropriate levels of senior marketing management and individual contributors.

Skills/Competencies needed include:
•Field Marketing organization with campaign execution and digital/analytics experience preferred
•People management/leadership skills
•Strong organizational, planning and analytical experience
•Proven Program Management track record
•Experience leading and managing teams in complex projects, consulting, and leading virtual teams in cross-functional settings
•Excellent oral and written communications skills
•Experience with vendor management, training, and professional coaching
•The ability to think differently, adapt and drive new best practices
•Strong cultural awareness based on experience working with global teams
•Design, build, implement, and manage marketing services that support modern marketing capabilities that align to the broader Microsoft commercial “marketecture” strategy
• Lead a project management (PMO) function with the responsibility building marketing readiness, training assets, and corporate and field marketing deployment plans
•Build and lead a marketing training function to land self-service training assets on the modern marketing capabilities to marketers globally
•Implementing the services roadmap requirements for field and service center landing of modern marketing capabilities (planning, automation, digital/campaign tracking and analytics, and sales/partner alignment) based on MPSIT capabilities, corporate requirements and field business needs
•Ensure service design and deployment for key modern capabilities areas - including Social Marketing, Campaign Planning, and Tagging and Measurement.
•Lead the deployment and onboarding of required modern marketing capabilities (e.g, modern events, Localization, automation, etc.) in the field in conjunction with corporate landing functions
•Support the design and roadmap for field services and the definition of success metrics (scorecards/dashboards), measures and communicates outcomes and goals

Basic Qualifications
•Bachelors or Advanced degree in related technical, business or marketing discipline, MBA a plus
•Minimum 8 years of support and/or project and operation management experience
